InsRis has material experience in performing reinsurance services. We have a particularly strong staff of qualified specialists/analysts, including property/casualty actuaries, life/health actuaries, certified financial examiners, accredited financial examiners and certified public accountants. Our reinsurance personnel provide assistance in the review and evaluation of complex reinsurance treaties, transactions and programs, including cash flow analysis to determine risk transfer. Our staff  also provides comprehensive reinsurance services to insurance departments in the rehabilitation and liquidation of both property/casualty and life/health companies. Services include managing the reinsurance accounting practice; review and evaluation of intricate reinsurance agreements and programs; identification, evaluation and collection of reinsurance recoverables; and performing and negotiating commutations.   • In-depth knowledge of the reinsurance guidelines of the NAIC presented in the Financial Examiners Handbook
  • Understanding of the substance of reinsurance established by an ARe or CPCU
  • Ability to review and analyze the reasonableness and adequacy of the Company's reinsurance program
  • Capability to provide in depth knowledge of contracts, claims, accounting and underwriting, coupled with related transactions
  • Ability to readily identify coverage gaps and loss corridors
  • Capability to accurately calculate premium adjustments and retrospective premiums
  • Experience with pooling arrangements, fronting and portfolio transfers
  • Ability to properly analyze any contracts that may be in place, and be familiar with contract clauses (past and present)
